princetyty
Hi hi! :) I do not really know where post this topic, we will say that this is the right section but if modo deem appropriate to move it no problem. Go enter the heart of the subject, I was sponsored by the company secretweaponminiatures to paint their new range of scenery called "Tablescapes tiles", this is a big project from a kickstarter, made up by 'tiles ", who mesured one feet (about 30 cm), by theme (urban, discharge etc ..) each set consists of 24 tiles, the whole forming an infinitely renewable gaming table. A rather well-designed rigging system is present to take it all in place during our party. Short on paper is really nice, the price is what is more cheaper than games (250 dollars or 230 euros), Table of urban from games workshops cost 260 euros and has only 6 trays. I just finished a tile theme "urban street damaged" without further delay the pictures: The tile : P1040152 by salaise figurine, on Flickr P1040gtgt137 by salaise figurine, on Flickr detail : P1040151 by salaise figurine, on Flickr P1040148 by salaise figurine, on Flickr WIth marines, tank and imperial knight : P1040138 by salaise figurine, on Flickr P1040141 by salaise figurine, on Flickr P1040142 by salaise figurine, on Flickr P1040144 by salaise figurine, on Flickr Anyway as you can see this is really good stuff, there are a lot of details on each tile, the cast is quite good, excellent playability, I love :). In all there are 4 different themes, I'll post here the following. I made a pretty big article on the blog with lots of photos: http://salaisefigurine.blogspot.fr/2015/05/terrain-tablescapes-tiles-by.html Feel free to ask questions or tell me what you think! :) my facebook page for more wip : https://www.facebook.com/salaisefigurine Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307009-tablescapes-tiles-from-secretweaponminiatures-society/ Share on other sites
Americanzero
Just curious, why the light colored highlighting on the cratered asphalt? In my experience broken asphalt is sharp, almost glossy black. Otherwise they are cool! Fatespinner
I've been looking into picking up a set of these myself. Nice to see some pictures of what they look like when painted (although I don't think I could match your standards!). I'm looking forward to seeing more before I buy, but right now I'm definitely leaning that way. Dono1979
The tiles are fantastic, I have 64 now across three different themes and use them in combination with certain Forge World tiles which fit perfectly with the smaller Secret Weapon tiles. princetyty
Hello Hello! I see the topic to seem to please! So I allow myself to chain and show you following themes! Today we approach the theme "forgotten city", old ancient ruins. One of my favorite subjects, so much possibility! And then there was a small side diablo 3 that does not leave me indifferent ... pictures The "tile" : P1040166 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040168 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr detail : P1040172 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr Simulation with miniatures : P1040177 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040178 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040182 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr Many more pictures on the dedicated article on my blog : http://salaisefigurine.blogspot.fr/2015/05/terrain-tablescapes-tiles-by_8.html This is very good stuff! This theme is just excellent and offers a lot of opportunity, I painted version "desert" but one can imagine the Nordic ruins or temple lost in the jungle. In short a great possible variation of colors and of course you can add what you want scenery/terrain on it! there are people who would be interested in a full table painted by me? (I wonder if there would be people interested ...) if that's the case, do not hesitate to contact me on my blog, or mp Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307009-tablescapes-tiles-from-secretweaponminiatures-society/#findComment-4038099 Share on other sites
princetyty
Hey! Let's go with the 3rd theme "rolling field", or "green meadow", a classic theme, with an almost infinite possibility of color scheme, Martian plain, meadow, desert ... Again this is great stuff, but I think more reserve for fantasy players. Pictures: P1040403 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040405 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr Situation : P1040406 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040407 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040409 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr P1040408 by rémi argoud, sur Flickr A few more photos on the blog article : http://salaisefigurine.blogspot.fr/2015/05/terrain-tablescapes-tiles-by_24.html This is good stuff, though I prefer other theme, but it is a matter of personal taste. Go there remains only one tile to paint! bigted
Wow, these look great! You've done a really good job on them, it must take ages to paint each tile! Keep up the good work.
