Bennicus
Just getting started and was curious if someone can suggest an easy way to prime and paint assembled minis that aren't on bases. My guys have tons of fiddly leg detail that I can't easily paint when they are based. Thanks! Grotsmasha
Using a Pin Vice, drill holes and insert wire into both feet, have a good length, 3-4 inches. Then push the wires into a cork bottle thingy. http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/3/21/200038_sm-.JPG Cheers, Jono Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307074-priming-and-painting-minis-without-bases/#findComment-4029247 Share on other sites

Americanzero
I have holes drilled into my painting desk. I use 2 1/2" galvanized nails and glue them to a foot. Hold them by the nail when painting, drop the nail in the hole while they are drying. Makes it easier to keep pieces together as well. Have a pair of arms that have to go together? Mark the holes.
