Helias_Tancred Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 In the pictures I've seen from GW (BA Codex, etc) of Astorath his red armor seems to be different than the standard mephiston red & evil sunz scarlet trim .... I'm guessing the red parts are khorne red with a different highlight to it? I wanted to get some experienced feedback before I start on him. Thanks. TotalInsomnia Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 So Buypainted (the guy in this video) also painted an Astorath mini which may be a better reference if your using an airbrush. If you are just using a regular brush however his techniques may not translate well. For brush work I would start with khorne red then mephiston red and go from there then shade with a mix of rhinox hide and khorne red. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
