Julgolax
Other than buying 30 pounds of green stuff or spending $33 for 5 robed marines 40 times, I'm wondering if anyone else has found alternative means of dressing their marines to kill. I've done a search for "dark angels robe conversion" and all I've found is mostly guides on how to green stuff them or 'deals' on Company Veteran Squad bits. So depressing... Space Truckin
Here is a great tutorial from Brother Kage on how to make capes from TP Looks like it would work for Robes as well Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307268-cheapest-most-effective-way-to-robe-marines/#findComment-4034306 Share on other sites
Julgolax
Here is a great tutorial from Brother Kage on how to make capes from TP Looks like it would work for Robes as well That tutorial is quite fascinating. It would be a great challenge to make full robes however, especially consistently across selected miniatures. I also have the worst luck with glue... Can't say how many miniatures and finger tips have ended up looking like desiccated skin flakes because of exploding super glue spouts... -_- Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307268-cheapest-most-effective-way-to-robe-marines/#findComment-4034550 Share on other sites
Kaldoth
Honestly, I'd say a bit of Green Stuff is your best bet. If you don't buy the GW brand, you can get a fairly large tube for around ten dollars. Here's a decent video tutorial on youtube (remove the spaces between the / and "watch"): https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=HragjawDiLc Cheers, -Kal Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307268-cheapest-most-effective-way-to-robe-marines/#findComment-4034555 Share on other sites

Julgolax
Those are indeed really cool! Like Mark 2 and Mark 3 armors with robes. That would be a great source for 30K Dark Angels! Not exactly what I'm looking for for 40K Dark Angels, but I suppose Dark Angels don't have to all be robed, only sergeants.
