Cataphractii Primus

The Cataphractii Primus is described as having the standard rules for this armour type. does this mean that you pay the wargear costs for someone wearing Terminator armour, and have access to its relevant upgrades (eg, grenade launcher) or do you pay normal prices, and not come stock with the power weapon? I've heard both interpretations and would like to hear how people think it should be played

If the former interpretation, it is ridiculously good with eternal warrior etc for effectively 15 points

Sorry if it's a silly question just wanted to clarify as some people were trying to force me to pay more

So you're after a primus medicae consul wearing cata armour? Buy the medicae rule option, then buy the armour option which comes default with combi bolter and psword instead, then you pay to exchange them for the terminator specific weapon options as you desire. Or have I missed something too?

Think he is on about the sons of horus relic. Its a badass cata suit with EW and psuedo +1T

As for OP

My gaming group is pretty nice about 30k rules but they let me run one for 50 points gives you weapons and options.

RAW, it comes with no weapons and forces no exchange to PW SB. As such you may take any kit available for a Power/Artificer Armoured Praetor.

RAI/RACSD; as per normal weapon swap for Cataphractii.

Wait, so for the sake of sheer silliness, if you went full RAW and took the Power Armour Praetor options with the relic Primus armour.... you could throw him on a bike with a boarding shield for defensive grenades? Hahahahahahahahah nope
