Julgolax Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 It would definitely be cool to see the standard bearer painted up, but then I'd also be interested in seeing the real leader of your force because a leader can't be a banner bearer. Myself, I suggest that you don't neglect the blue in your armor. Too many Night Lords are too brightly colored and to make this particular model pop, spot color with either the bone color of the "teeth" in the armor OR use some sort of lighting effect from "within" the armor. Also make sure to use a nice, dark red for the wing pieces on the armor and go subtle with the lightning effects if you're going that route. The sketches definitely appear to be either some heavily mutated Night Lords (who aren't really that vampiric IMO) or Blood Angels that have fallen to Chaos and have joined the Night Lords.
