nurgling6688 Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 Hey everyone, I recently got a commission to convert and paint up a Black Templars Marshall using the old metal Vanguard Veteran Sergeant as a base. My client wanted him to have a cloak similar to the Sword Brethren, and a new head and shoulder pad which he provided. When I pointed out that he would still have the jump pack cables on his chest I suggested covering them up with a traditional Templar tabard. At this point I'm pretty much ready to begin painting. This is the first cape I've ever sculpted and I think it looks pretty dynamic. I'm excited to paint it. Like I said, once I have worked a bit more on his shoulder shield I'll take some better pictures of the model with his other arm and backpack tacked on. Thanks for looking!
