Himlur
So my chappy is magnetized so I can add more stuff off and on, etc. I was wondering because for me their is this grey area about the buff from power fists. Yes it gives x2 strength when you use but if I have a fist and my croziers and I elect to use the croziers do I still get x2 strength but not the AP value I was just wondering. Thoughts? I appreciate any feed back. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308606-power-fists/ Share on other sites

Quixus
You can only ever use the profile of one weapon. There is no way of combining parts of the profiles of several weapons. You get S*2 AP2 unwieldy specialist weapon, if you attack with the power fist or S+2 AP4 concussive, if you attack with the crozius. It is unclear if you get the bonus for an additional CC weapon from the power fist if you attack with the crozius. Unwieldy definitely prohibits gaining an extra attack if you attack with the power fist. knife&fork
Since the powerfist has the 'specialist weapon' USR you won't get a bonus attack for having two weapons. Doesn't matter if you use the fist, the crozius or a grenade. Quixus
I disagree. You only ever use one profile in an attack. If you use the Crozius profile, there is no applicable Specialist weapon rule, just as there is no shred rule, when you use the power fist on a model armed with a lightning claw and a power fist. A power fist still is a cc weapon so the general rule for the extra attack applies. Why it is not entirely unambiguous is that the specialist weapon rule speaks of "fighting with this weapon", which is never defined. We do not know if this is different from attacking with this weapon. BAjim
Knife&Fork is right: as per BRB: Specialist Weapon - A model fighting with this weapon does not receive +1 Attack for fighting with two weapons unless it is armed with two or more Melee weapons with the Specialist Weapon rule. In Codex BA the Crozius Arcanum is a Melee weapon but without the Specialist Weapon rule Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308606-power-fists/#findComment-4068218 Share on other sites
