Ishagu
I was wondering if there was a way to remove some resin heraldry pieces stuck to the doors of a few of my tanks without completely scraping and ruining the finish of the model? They were super-glued on pretty tight :-/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308629-any-way-to-remove-some-resin-pieces-stuck-to-plastic/ Share on other sites
xera32
Repeatedly Freeze and defrost the model. Freezing super glue makes it brittle. You may still have to slightly damage the surface to get a pick or prybar behind the resin piece to break it off. Not garunteed, but it is the old way for dissasembling models. Larkyn
In my experience, the best way to remove resin from plastic (or indeed, other resin) is just to drop it on the floor. Instant removal! In seriousness though, the freezing method is probably the best.
