Sisters Rumours

I doubt we'd get models in high heels if models ever happen. The current crop all have flats.

all I really want is an easy way to make special weapon wielders. One tactical squad box equivalent is all we need, it's been discussed many times before.

hell, i'd settle for a campaign supplement with formation rules for SoB.

Are we really talking about Games Workshop here ?

I'd love to see new sistas (I'd probably start a small allied detachment) but I'm not getting my hopes up.

To continue the wish listing spree, I'd like to see a codex of Warriors of the Emperor, which not only details the Girls in Ceramite, but also Crusaders (I really love those models), Death Cults and Zealots, all with their own troop choice, HQ choice and elite/fast attack OR heavy support choice. Also, customisable Ministorum Priests (including REDEMPTIONISTS biggrin.png ) !

Also, I don't know how Repentia play on the table, but I think that it would be nice to give them an option like a flaming flamberge.

(for those who don't know what that is :

Even if they don't officially get such an option, my DIY order is keeping them ! Ha !

Repentia, you mean? PRetty much like they would if they used those, only they can carve up tanks and giant robots as well as orks...

If all you want is allies, get the metals! Don't wait, just join the faithful.

Yes, you're right about the redemptia-> repentia. I've edited that post.

With the flamberge swords, I have been trying to create some rules, something like :

two weapon profiles

  • Range:-__________S:+2____AP:4____Melee, Two handed, Soulflame, limited fuel reserves*
  • Range:Template___S:4_____AP:5____Assault 1, One shot

*limited fuel reserves : once a flamberge has used its shot profile, a flamberge only counts as a normal two handed close combat weapon (S+2 AP/ Melee Two Handed)

I have to be honest, I'm a fan of the sisters, but I don't really like the current model range that much, and I really don't like metal or failcast...

Hum, more purifying flames to purge the heretic. That doesn't really look... nasty enough, if you see what I mean. I'd picture a huge lightbringer from AGOT

A Flamberge has more or less the scale of this chap's one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOgw3Xr8rnE&ab_channel=scholagladiatoria

I would just as rather we get our brazier of holy fire back.

Or maybe a version of that cranked up to 11.

Power maul, with soulblaze and wall of death USR, that has a once per battle heavy flamer template.

Don't make it a relic, allow it as an optional upgrade to the CCW for every superior.

I used to run my Dominions with all flamers, back when we got AP1 flamers... and I would include a brazier and combi-flamer on both the superior and the priest. I usually only needed the 6 templates once per game, but the 20 points for those extra 2 templates wasn't going to get me much that I didn't already have. It didn't happen often but when I would manage to pulling that off twice in a game, the look on my opponent's face was priceless.

True, but I would have to drop one of my two exorcists or my unit of penetent engines.

Not that my PE get much action, but they do call attention away from my exorcists.

I don't know how my PE are going to compete now that SM Dreads are 3 in a unit.

Hopefully they come up with a better solution than have us buy 10 PE per unit.

But that sort of two handed sword doesn't appear on the historical record until at least the 4th century of M2, while Attila was the 5th C of M1! And that other sword appears to be some kind of falcata or kopis, which date back to well before M-1, while Attila would have used a straight, double edged sword in the Sassanid style.

Ahh but you see you're thinking of the Hun, Attila, not the Nun, Attila who was given this sword by flashing the Lord her assets...gah I hate comics like this....-_-
