noigrim
Would you rather use the 40k allies chart instead of the age of darkness's? Hence you would be able to include: daemons in all traitors officio assassinorum then would you count the warp cults/tanted flesh in the imperialis militia as chaos renegades? Dono1979
Nope, the 40K allies chart would make the entire game bland, every Loyalist would be considered Imperial and and every Traitor would be considered Chaos? You would lose all of the nuances of the inter legionary relationships. I think it would be nice to have the Assassinorum brought into 30K and I suspect that they will make it there eventually along with a lot of the other Imperial branches. Daemons in all Traitor legions isnt (imo) a good thing either, so early in the Heresy, not all of the Legions were fully aware of or agreed with the use of the chaos gods and the daemons, again I think it would be far more interesting to see Daemons entered as an independent faction with their ally strength measured against each other faction. Slips
Assassins can easily fall under agents of the warmaster or emperor. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308896-allies/#findComment-4077787 Share on other sites
Hesh Kadesh
Criminally underused so far, IMHO. There has been so much scope for it, and Book IV I thought would have properly expanded on that. Personally, I think that they've got their mind set on using them purely for Custodes/Sisters of Silence/Watch Packs. If they do Ingethel, I hope he gets similar treatment. I personally think that Be'lakor and Samus could be treated the same considering their nature. Admittedly, Be'lakor has had so little to do with the Horus Heresy, it's kind of damning about how badly he was shoehorned (crowbarred more like) into 40k. noigrim
so overall you would include assasins but not daemons (since only the word bearers can take them) ? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308896-allies/#findComment-4080121 Share on other sites
