I see way too many city boards, don't get me wrong they're fun, but It gets a bit boring, I kinda need to do some woodland terrain, hills and trees and underbrush so my group isn't always fighting in some city. I mean sure that's where a lot of battles are going to be fought, but having something that resembles Kasserine Pass, or El Alamein would be really cool. Or having terrain that looked like the hedgerows of Normandy, or the mountains of Austria/Bavaria, or the jungles of Guadalcanal or Tarawa, would be just as fun.

So true. However I'm going totally the opposite way and going forgeworld/internals of a spaceship vibe with the board I'm currently working on. Next up will be a more verdant looking board. Though I might do some form of hydroponics gone mad board section.

 

Thinking of doing some form of green/brown board for the next one.

Got a spare room I will turn into a city fight board hopefully post some pics when I can be bothered to sort out the base of it

Sort of like Stalingrad river in the middle lots of bunched up buildings and ruins
