No armoured parts and everything is seperate: arms, legs, torso, heads and the feets! Even the weapons are seperate from the hands. I think it would look better with some more battle damage and weathering. It would also better fit the Calth theme you are going for. BeatTheBeat Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Fantastic work, but I have to agree with WilhelMiniatures on the weathering. It's too localized right now, like the tank's been driving veeeery slowly and carefully through heavy but strangely uniform dirt for a day or two. Realistically dirt would have not been confined to exactly half a meter from the tracks all around the tank, and the damage and dirt would be of different kinds, so I think what you have to do is apply some more types of weathering and apply it to more areas of the tank in varying amounts.Cheers,BTB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The weathering is not finished. Like i've written i'm waiting for the decals from FW. I must add them first and then add the additional weathering over them. I think the dirt of the tank corresponds with my bases. So that's okay for me. But i also think you are right about the high of the dirt. I must add some more and more irregular. On higher parts of the tank i will add pigments. But that will be the last step before i will seal it with varnish. It's the first time that i work with weathering and battle damages so i'm glad to get so many constructive critism. @A Kvlt Ghost: it's very simple. I drill a hole and use a knife to frazzle the edge of the hole. For the painting i started with black and added carefully a thin coat of boltgun metal. If they should look like fresh, leaf them that way. If they should look older wash them with thin Nuln Oil, maybe add some rust. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

First the decals, then the chipping and finally the dirt. The combi-plasma of the Sergeant will get a nice OSL too. And to get them out you need to remove a part of the larger base deco. I magnetized this piece to keep it in place. I will start to paint him during my holidays.
