Alternate attack bikes

Hi guys, I'm thinking of running a 5man attack bike squadron in my nightlords force. They will be used for flanking and tank hunting with their melta bombs.

Couple things:

Weapons:

Multimelta or heavy flamers

More importantly, does anyone have ideas for alternative bike models, as the current ones from gw just look bad to me.

I like the chariot side car idea, with standing guys holding the weapons. Just seeing if anyone else has any good ideas or 3rd party models for me to check out.

Once I was thinking about converting attack Bikes useing a CSM bike kitbashed with the attack bike for more of a chopper look. You also could just put the attack bike side car on the FW bikes.

If you want a guy standing with the heavy weapon, I would convert it to be like a "attack trike". the front of a bike plus driver, with the gunner on a platform behind the driver shooting. Sort of like the old squat trikes.

The only chariot in the GW that looks like it's make of metal and not wooden in the chaos one thow. So not sure how well it would "work"/how clean you could make the conversion look.

If they are tank hunting, 5 multi meltas that whizz round the side will be painful, even if it has armoured ceremite. Plus you can follow up with meltabombs, that's what I do. Iv used autocannons a few times wasn't to bad, but not as much punch.

If your knight hunting, don't forget to spread out and get those invulnerable saves down when he chooses a side!

Beware though they are only 3+ saves!

The reason I like them as a slot is a unit of five is just as durable as 10 bikers, which is pretty decent.

Plus they can melta bomb ceramite, which is amazing at destroying Spartans.

Only worry is the cost, but if I leave them with heavy flamers, it will get in people's faces and harass there back lines, while also being reasonably cheap and fast.
