Astropathic message from Portugal...

Hello to all.

I am from Portugal and started just recently in this hobby with my adorable Avatar of Khorne (aka my wife) smile.png

I have been a fan of the lore from some time now and my wife asked me if we could start buying some models because they were cheap on ebay and she loves to paint and such.

So we bought Marneus Calgar and Honor Guard (the metal ones, we discovered later) and in the meanwhile we discovered a shop in Lisbon that was dedicated to tabletop and wargames. A visit there, super friendly people and very helpful and we came home later with the Deathstorm boxset since she loves Tyranids and I like Blood Angels a lot (even though my favs are Imperial Fists biggrin.png).

So, we have been assembling the models and now we have some doubts (newbies doubts, so I ask forgiveness from the veterans here) and I came here to learn more and ask for some answers.

I'll be posting my doubts in the BA section since that's where most of my doubts are, so if anyone can lend a hand, it'll be most apreciated.

Also, sorry about the English mistakes, but this astropath that I rented is on the cheap side smile.png

Thanks and anything that I may help, feel free to ask.

Benvindo!

I hope the gaming scene is better these days in Portugal. When I left it was practically in shambles and not much people were playing 40K.

I hope the 40Korvos tournament still exists. Big fun, that one.

Obrigado! (Thanks!)

Well, as I said, I just made a "drop pod insertion in the middle of the battle", so don't know about the gaming scene here. Inside the shop where I'm buying the materials there is a nice area with lots of tables to play and people are welcome to do it for free. Don't know if I can put the URL here. In most of the times I went there, most people were playing Warmachine/Hordes and MTG. But from the small talk I had with the owners, I think not many people play 40K, as you said.
