nismogrendel
I'm getting ready to paint one of my Leman Russ tanks. I like the light grey urban tank look. I don't think I want to do a camo pattern at all on this tank. I've found two different tutorials for painting a Russ in this style. This youtube vid says to base the model black, spray center of panels light grey, then go over the entire panel lightly with the same color: This BOLS post starts with Mechanicus Standard Grey, hits the top half with Dawnstone at a 45 degree, then hits the top of the model with Administratum Grey. http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2012/12/hobby-painting-heavy-armour-part-one.html Both styles then go on to weather the tank in various ways. Are there any other example styles I should be looking at? Anyone have examples of their own urban/grey tanks?
