RedwaKe
Looks good to me. I'd play agaisnt him without a problem. But I think he should be WS8 and the spring's tears rules seems a little op imo. Maybe a 1d3" run move instead ? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309224-jaghatai-khan-experimental-rules/#findComment-4084885 Share on other sites
Hesh Kadesh
Springs Tears is massively overpowered against assault armies, and Bikes/Jetbikes can't Run anyway. Rather than giving a run move, just simplify it, and reduce enemy charges by D3, similar to the Grav Repellor or whatever it is the Auxilia have. In regards to the army limitations, a Primarch shouldn't have influence over what units you CAN'T take. What Legion rules do White Scars have? Most legion rules were made more powerful by their Primarch's presence, or have the Primarchs rules slightly different. Master of the Blade, eh, 7 Attacks is pretty good. noigrim
The plan would be to achieve the mongol tactic f running from a charge and shooting all the while, perhaps if they don't move in thier turn they can move in the next? Hesh Kadesh
Clunky and complicated IMHO. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309224-jaghatai-khan-experimental-rules/#findComment-4085170 Share on other sites
PastelAvenger
I don't like Springs Tears, my Sons of Horus would be at a definite disadvantage. I think it should convey outflank which feels more White Scars. There is no point in him having a pistol since he has the bow, I would drop it. I like the rest though. I really hope you're not taking Dreadnoughts in your White Scars list ;-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309224-jaghatai-khan-experimental-rules/#findComment-4088344 Share on other sites
Toothbrush of Terra
Is Salvo 2/1 intentional, or did you mean Salvo 1/2? Salvo 2/1 means he fires fewer shots when stationary than when on the move. noigrim
gotta invert the salvo rules he has a pistol cause john blanche paited him with one and I'll definitelly drop the spring's tears rule, enough buffs with the hit and run Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309224-jaghatai-khan-experimental-rules/#findComment-4089182 Share on other sites
Memento Of Prospero
I would make the sword a little more interesting, a 2 handed weapon could probably use something like Brutal Charge (+1 WS and +1 I on the charge), mastercrafted. The bow is very redundant with the legion relic and the fact that he already has an archeotech pistol. Ward save is fantasy. Invulnerable save is 40k, might want to adress that ;) I would change Master of the blade's name to Beauty in Death, or something along those lines. His first captain says that he is not only deadly in melee, but that the way he deals death is beautiful beyond comparison. Word it appropriately : Every roll of a 6 to hit generates an additional attack. These attacks cannot generate further attacks.
