Awaken_Realms
We had the opportunity to do a power armoured army recently - the Raven Guard. The black armour is sometimes tricky to be painted right. I hope you like this army of the Ravens – the idea behind it was the Astartes army silently walking under a full moon's shine, illuminated by the lunar light. Take the closer look at each unit and vehicle by clicking the army photo below! Wow is the army appearing to you?

SkimaskMohawk
Personally not a fan for a number of reasons. The white looks very unfinished on everything but the vets and dread. On the rhino chassis it spills over to the black and on the gun cases and helmets none of the details are really picked out. It looks like a basecoat of a blue grey, then the white sprayed over and it was left that way. Really apparent on the melta guns and bike's bolters. The highlighting process is the second reason. There's no consistency. On some models you'll have their shoulders derectionally highlighted, but the helmets won't have any, while the knee pads will have more. On top of that, some of the extreme line highlights just aren't in places you've established light is falling on (non beaky helmets especially) That being said I understand it was probably a low level commission so steps were taken to save time, but i hoped for more when I saw you guys had done a RG army
