v6v77
Greetings brothers and sisters of the crusade. As the title suggests ive had a few quandries with the fire raptor gunship and its hellstrike ordanance missiles. Now as you all know ordanance = snapfiring everything else. My question is this 1) Do the turrets have to snap fire being treated as they are with the undependant fire special rule 2)Can i use power of the machine spirit to fire the avenger bolt cannon at full BS still. Would love some input as it will effect my list choice against a necron decurion this tuesday. Cheers. xera32
There was a facebook post when the raptor's rules were first released allowing the turrets to fire at full BS even when firing ordnance. But good luck finding that post. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309303-fire-raptor-and-hellstrike-missiles/#findComment-4086942 Share on other sites
hivey
Is it even worth taking the ordnance missiles? Seems its better to save points and use the raptor as an anti infantry and light armor unit, drowning them in wounds/glances. v6v77
So i talked it through with my gaming group (the casuals, the waac and the 5 knights players) and they agreed with my power of the machine spirit interpretation. Was useless however as i turn 1d the one ghost ark with my thudds.
