So after introducing myself and pledging to the Back to Badab thread, I thought I'd better start my own thread!

So I've been collecting Astral Claws for a few years now - I originally started the army as way to use up some really old marines and the massive stack of parts I had lying around, and grew to really like them.

My intention is to collect 2 armies from the infamous conflict; one secessionist, one loyalist.

The secessionists will be represented by the Astral Claws and Lamenters, plus a contingent of Badab Scions (tentatively named the 'Thornguard' - must look that up in Latin) who will also be my Adepticon army next year, supported with a Knight or 2.

The loyalists - well, they're more up for debate.

I like the look of the Fire Hawks, but I also like the Star Phantoms and Carcharadons. I wish I had the patience for painting Novamarines!

I might paint up a few testers just to see which I like....
