Apothecaires and by extension Primus Medicae like most Medical units we can draw parallels to have always had White as Part of their Scheme whether in Primary or as a Secondary.

Forgelords and Techmarines, I think, would still have the Mechanicum Red that we know them in 40k.

Chaplains, Librarians, Vigilators, Delegatus', Praevians, Champions and Moritats (I think thats all of them) are much more free in terms of how you can paint them.

yeah its kind of a mix and there is actually an EC apothecary that is just white on the chest plate or belt up can't remember. I hast can't decide I like white apothos cause they stand out at a glance but mostly yellow apothos really yield a uniform solidity

damb you sons of dorn and you're sexy black and yellow scheme

yeah I gotcha but do I paint the apothicaries all white with a legion colour pauldron or in legion colours with just the apothicary pauldron white

Up to you, really.

I cant link the Images but, Tempest has Artwork for a UM Apothecary as does Betrayal (EC) and Massacre (WB). If you have the books you could look for them or just google search: Horus Heresy Apothecary Art and all but the UM should appear. For the UM just search specifically for a HH UM Apoth.
