The strategy of the list is to start Horus and the 10 combi-plasma terminators in deep strike reserve and the two reaver squads with Masters of Signals in outflank or deep strike reserves as the situation calls for. The other two terminator squads start in the Spartan. The Damocles allows the Reavers to not scatter if they decide to DS. Turn 1 I rush the Spartans forward with the Damocles following behind but hidden behind them or in cover. Turn 2 Horus auto arrives and the Reavers arrive on a 2+ rerollable due to Sons of Horus tactics and the Damocles and unleash 80 BS5 Plasma shots wherever I want on the board. At the same time, the Terminators in the Spartans move up and assault. Turn 3 onward is mop up. What do you guys think?

Wow. Just wow. That is a hilariously awesome list! I'd not noticed the wording of Black Reaving's compulsory MoS, but I think you're right. However, you need 3 compulsory Troops choices; maybe make a unit of Legion Terminators into Justaerin? They're not quite as badly overcosted when they're in units of 10.

If there's any way to get flare shields on the Spartans, I would highly recommend it. You could do it if you drop the Reaver squads a little bit, as you'll probably still get Merciless Fighters against anything you face in combat (provided it survives the fusillade of plasma). This would also allow you to put some gear on Reaver Sergeants and take a couple of chainfists for extra anti-tank.

I also like the fact you could scale this list down to smaller games by reducing squad sizes and swapping Spartans for Land Raiders! Brilliant!

Hey love the list but I do have a few things I think you need to look at again

I don't think your interpretation of the Master of Signals rule is right. As I read it when taking The Black Reaving you must take a MoS nothing changes the rule stating he can not be your compulsory HQ.

Personally I think your Reavers need some power weapons and power fists 15 Combi-plasma is over kill.

Oh and as mentioned you only have 2 troop choices you need to have 3.

Alright, how about I drop the Meltabombs on the MOS, drop 2 terminators and a powerfist and 2 Reavers, and take a base Reaver Squad. That gives me 3 troops.

It says that the Master of Signals must be your compulsory HQ +whatever gave the Rite of War. It was writen before Support Officer was a rule, so that is why they contradict. I don't want to add power weapons as I feel it makes the Reavers to beefy on points on top of the Combi-Plasmas. It's only a 1 wound 3+ armor save model. And the beauty of the Combi-Plasmas is I don't have to fire them all in one salvo. If my opponent is playing MSU, I can shoot had the squad at a time.

First: i like this list! Maybe you could switch one of the master of sognal for a primus medicae to make horus and his terminator squad Extremely resilient, but it is just an option.

By the way, since i think you will be playing reaver units as mobile plasma bearers, why not split them into 3 10 man unit or even in 6 5 man ones? Maybe half of them combi melta to take care of vehicles, and deep-strike them where needed!

Also i really like the damocles, as long as you keep him in cover it really help your list!

Only thing I would say is at 3.5k aren't titans available? Idk how often you will come across a guy who will just drop a warhound in his list but if you did it could cause a lot of trouble, due to your lack of anti tank other than that it seems really solid list.
