nziv
Hello, It's time to start storing the 30K mechanicum troops i've been painting before my toddlers eager hands smash them to bit. I'm based in the US, any recommendations on which case and foam system to use? I've used Battelfoam and this will be my go to selection but with Mechanicum models tending to run on the large side, with lots of 40mm and 60mm models I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. Have also used magnetized toolboxes which was a very good, yet heavy solution (hordes and warmachine were primarily metal at the time) but don't think it will work well for Mechancium due to relatively tall models. Thanks Nziv Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309586-best-case-for-30k-mechanicum/ Share on other sites
Vel'Cona
For tall models, I use plastic file boxes lined with packing foam (the kind used to protect electronics). You can get the file boxes at office supply stores for cheap (5-8 bucks) and the foam is often thrown out at those same stores. Even better, the boxes usually have handles built-in and have dividers built into the lids (to store dice, tokens, cards, etc.). It's how I store my IK and the majority of my WHFB armies (which tend to have tall dragony models).
