BassWave
I've been trying to find how skitarii are transported from their ships to a planet but I haven't found it yet in either the Skitarii codex or the Cult codex. Can anyone shoot me a reference? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309605-skitarii-transports-in-the-lore/ Share on other sites
CommodusXIII
The tie-in novels Skitarius and Tech-Priest, both by Rob Sanders, are great resources. A combination of heavy landing craft, Titan conveyors, shuttles, and other ships. The Skitarii hitch a ride on anything and everything. Battybattybats
And teleportation is an option too as the Cult Mechanicus has that breachers and dominus teleporting formation. CommodusXIII
And teleportation is an option too as the Cult Mechanicus has that breachers and dominus teleporting formation. There's a cool scene in the eponymous first Soul Drinker novel that deals with this. Nostramar
I believe they use heavily modified Rhinos in the Priests/Lords/Gods of Mars books. They are being stored together with the imperial tanks, in the prow of the Ark Mechanicus *Speranza', if memory serves. Magos Secutor Hirimau Dahan (leader of the Skitarii forces) personally use one as well - a rather unique model. Cactus
IIRC it had a pintle mounted heavy bolter. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/309605-skitarii-transports-in-the-lore/#findComment-4096183 Share on other sites

CommodusXIII
The easiest way might be to ally in from Codex: Inquisition. You'd also get access to the more traditional combat/gun servitors to go alongside the Kataphrons, and an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor with a conversion beamer could easily become a tech-priest.
