Octopus choas marine

Hello.

So Im buildind a octopus themed chaos Space marine and Im looking for advice on the green stuff but mostly just the tentacles.

I think if you have two flat surfaces to roll the tentacle between it would have a smoother finish. You could even have the surfaces at an angle to get the tentacle-like form.

Best thing for it, get yourself one of these. Haven't got one myself yet(pay day is a coming though) . The vids and pics of the finished result is great.

If you are not wanting to buy anything like the above, then I usually make up a batch of green and wait a little bit till is cures a little. Then roll out on a flat smooth surface then leave dry, usually few hours or over night.  

 

For you, do that maybe, try and shape it to how you want it to look on the model(if left to cure for a short while it is usually pretty good at holding the shape), then leave to cure totally(like over night). Then get little balls of green and add them to the tentacle, then get something to make little dents/holes (like a really small plastic tube, possible even another bit of model that's suitable for the job) for the suckers.
