Hellrender
Greetings honoured adepts, princeps and commanders. I'm building a knight, which has been converted to the cause of chaos. His story is that he was turned during the HH, and fought against the loyalists. But recently i got the idea to make all my other knights loyalists. But i am afraid i have made it myself a bit difficult to explain that on the battle field. I want to be able to play the whole army as a single force. In 30k matches that shouldnt be too hard. The traitor is simply being corrupted but hasnt made the big traitor moves yet. But what could his story be in 40k battles? Why would a 10k year old knight suit fight alongside his old house? Also, how could this be represented with his heraldry? Would the loyalists knight make a badge that represents their grudge against their fallen brothers? Cheers for any help Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/310049-creating-a-knight-house-with-divided-loyalties/ Share on other sites
Teetengee
Just as planned? The knight if he isn't too obviously corrupted, may be able to pass as a loyalist when it serves his purposes, and the other knights (since they weren't alive at the time of betrayal) just don't recognize their cousin who "fell through the warp in time." DevineKnight
If you took a more Isolated House perspective. While one of their number is wrong, needs redemption they re still a family that comes before any other loyalties, family first while they may kill each other no one else can. jeffersonian000
Could be the Knight itself has become corrupted, slowly turning its pilots over the ages. While the remaining Knights and Nobles maintain their loyalty to the Imperium, they shelter and support their most ancient member, a relic suit of Knight armor that only their greatest champions throughout history could master.
