Question about the new knight kit.

Recommended Posts

So in the kit, how do the weapons come? If someone had the old kit and wanted the avenger gatling cannon, could they use the weapon from that kit and still use one of the other weapons from the new kit? Or does it require a critical component?

While I'm at it, is there anychance someone out there bought the new kit and used a differnt weapon and would be willing to make some sort of trade? $40 on eBay is way more than should be reasonable.

Failing that, my final lifeline here, does anyone have a bunch of photos of the weapon so I can try and make a shoddy kitbash (minus any kits mind you).

The two weapons you get with the new kit are the gatling cannon and the gauntlet. You can use both on the same model and that makes a Warden. If you want to make anything other than a Paladin or Errant, you just switch and swap weapons between the new sprue and the old kit. The only critical component is an arm, which there is one supplied, if I recall correctly.

The carapace weapons (the missile launchers) share the same housing. There are two different plates, one for each set of missiles. The AA gun is a completely separate component.

If I had an extra cannon, I'd share it because $40 is ridiculous.

Hope that answers your question smile.png

When you build the gatling cannon, you use 4 components (the bits that make up the shoulder joint) from the original kit.

So if you already built the arms on the original model, you won't be able to build a gatling cannon even with the components from the new sprue.
