Jegind
Im really new at this game, and I got a match coming up vs Blood Angels (1850 points) I know that hes gonna spam droppods. Just wanna hear if anyone got some tactics vs that. Ive been thinking about using Inquisiter Coteaz for his "ive been expecting you" but would you use him at all? and if you would....what unit would you put him in? -Michael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/310238-tactics-vs-blood-angels/ Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
Coteaz was once so spammed, a notable tournament decided to blanket ban him. Stick him with a unit with as many Heavy Weapons as you can. Grav preferably. shortysl
Depends what you think he'll be running. He can't assault from Drop Pods so as long as he doesn't go with too much firepower I say let him drop in, weather the storm and then get your assaults going on your turn. Blood Angels receiving a charge are just like regular Astartes; Blood Angels receiving a charge from Grey Knights are just like regular minced beef. Prot
Honestly I haven't had a big issue with Blood Angels. They typically play aggressive.... so do we. Usually you'll see one Libby, which is going to have trouble getting off anything against GK. Pods coming in is really something you can counter with the NSF. Just look at his deployment and prepare to allow him turn 1 if you like, or just hold back.... there's a few options there. But overall I'm not a fan of list tailoring, however, it really shouldn't matter in this match up.
