Praetor of Calth
This is abit of a long shot, and something that I've actually refrained from posting for some time for that very reason, but I think I know the real reason we haven't seen the Prospero book yet. I can think of several instances in the past few years, where Forgeworld kept using new excuses event after event as to why they hadn't released a certain kit lots of people were clamouring for. The most recent of these were the Skitarri and the Imperial Knight Titan. Event after event these two kits Forgeworld were kits that Forgeworld said they would produce, but each passing open day they would develop a new excuse as to why they hadn't released them yet. With Hasting's promises of plastic 30k marines, and even more stuff to follow, it appears to me that whatever is being released by GW for this range next year is what is actually delaying the book. It has to something big, something that will sell like hotcakes, something that would stop Forge World producing rules for that would clash with any that GW would produce. This only fits one of two things in the Prospero that could viably be produced in plastic. The Adeptus Custodes or the Sisters of Silence. Call me a crackpot or whatever, I expect you too. If 1-2 yrs down the line we don't have plastic custodes or whatever (Closely followed by a Prospero book.) feel free to spam my PM box with hate. Lng my Forge World and their long list of teasing excuses live on. :p Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/310701-pulling-back-the-veil-the-delay-of-the-prospero-book/ Share on other sites
Scribe
Ehhhhhhhh rampant speculation, I sure as :cuss hope this isnt the case because I dont want GW within 1000 feet of FW, or the HH. After Age of Sigmar, I'm just waiting for them to messed up 40K. Fire Golem
Yeah GW had better keep the hell away from the FW heresy rules and fluff. They can make plastic models all they want but I really hope they don't touch the books. Arsaces
With Scribe on this. The rules would be awful and the models would be awful. Not completely against plastic Heresy era power armour, but it'd ruin AoD if GW get involved in the rules. The books would be so , especially now we're used to FW's quality for the range. Personally I think you're just wrong OP, GW doing HH is complete hearsay and scaremongering. FW have an order, and they need to get the current range out before they add 4/5 new factions (Thousand Sons, Space Wolves, Adeptus Custodes, Sisters of Silence...). The Primarch's that have rules available being a case in point. Scribe
Even the idea of it makes me sick (truly) to my stomach, of GW proper becoming involved with FW at all in terms of direction, and production. Demus Ragnok
Age of the Emperor. Abandon makes it to the throne room. Only to be backhanded down by the E, who then standing over Abs, throws his sunglasses into the crowd, rips off his tee shirt, and says... "Knoweth thy role astartes." Before kicking a hole in Abs face. And Euphratee Keeler is the ring announcer and Loken and Garro doing color commentary. Flint13
++ This has already run its course and the OP has been disabused of the worry of potential intermingling of gross GW peanut butter in delish FW chocolate. Before anything negative starts going down, let's find something more constructive to discuss. ++ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/310701-pulling-back-the-veil-the-delay-of-the-prospero-book/#findComment-4114641 Share on other sites
