Maddog176 Posted July 9, 2015 Share Posted July 9, 2015 G'day everyone, its been along time since I have posted on here or done anything 40k related for that matter. Recently I decided to start playing again so figure it would be a good idea to reuse old minis what never got painted and try and build a theme up from them. The point of this topic is to see if I can get some advice/criticism and hopefully help motivate me to keep going. Anyway the idea behind the army will be everything is a ghost/specter except for the Sorcerers/Daemon Prince who summoned them.So here is the test marine and the prince who will be leading them, its the first time i will be painting the mini not on the base. Maddog176 Posted July 10, 2015 Author Share Posted July 10, 2015 To be honest the main reason I bought the prince (the only thing i did buy so far for this army the rest was just laying around from years back) was to make a base where it looks like he is summoning the spirits out of the ground. Progress on the prince seems so slow especially since its so different to what i am used to painting (main army is Blood Angels). Also have no experience with painting daemons so am a little stumped on the skin especially with the way how the armor blends into the skin, but it will give me a chance to experiment. First we have the 10 man chaos squad wip (though will stay this way for a bit i imagine) Next up is my prince, there is still plenty I could do but i will probably leave him how he is.
