Perturabo & Night Lords transfer sheet for sale

Interesting to see that Perturabo has covered the finely-wrought details Fulgrim engraved on Forgebreaker with heavy riveted plates. Wondering whether he was more spiteful of Ferrus and Fulgrim when doing that.

Huh, hadn't noticed that. Nice little touch.

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it.  He's actually removed all the engraving on the hammer.  It's almost a completely different weapon now.

Im getting nervous at the way FW keeps upping the price of the primarchs. Its getting a tad out of hand now.

I'm not that worried. The Cheapest Primarch, right now, is Lorgar at 52 Pounds with Perturabo being the Most Expensive at 70. There is, however, a pretty significant difference in bulk and size between both and I see why one would cost more than the other.

The median price for them is still 60 pounds (+/- 59.1 or something), and most, if not all, are not far from that price point with 6 costing 57 (Vulkan, Mortarion, Angron, Curze, Fulgrim and Ferrus) and only 3 costing 60+ (Horus, Robute and Perturabo, 62, 65, 70 respectively) with Lorgar rounding this all off being the Cheapest at 52.

So, as long as they keep within range of this 60 Pound Average for the Primarchs -- exceptions being made depending on how physically bulky the model is - Perturabo nearly has an entire Cerastus Knight Torso under his feet; with Pilot included -- then I dont have much of a Problem with it.

It'll only be a problem is they start to skyrocket in price: Next Primarch being ~75, then 80, 85, etc.

Edit: Typos.

Seconding Slips, I don't know if Perturabo and Sigismund's pricing is too much to worry about. Also expect Eidolon's Deredeo base to make him £45 at the Sigi price-point.

If they were going to raise prices, they would raise prices on everything. It's happened before, where I think Horus was originally £59-60, and the character series were all like £28-29 (now 31). But we're just getting big display bases for these specific models and paying for weight of resin here.

I will be a little annoyed if they decide all the bases need to be gigantic wrecks, like if Corax shows up on a disabled Warhound Titan head and then Alpharius comes on a blown up Thanatar automata. But for now it just feels like the sculptors got tired of sculpting bases covered in dead Astartes (see Vulkan, Sevatar, Fulgrim, Ferrus, Angron, Khârn) and decided to switch it up a bit.

Personally, I love the head. It really speaks to his nature, and his mindset, that he would alter and shatter his own physique and image, to improve his abilities on the combat field, on tactical and stategic levels. I wouldn't be shocked to find that he has tied in so many linked sensors and semi-intelligent coginators into his own brain and nervous system, that he has been forced to spread out his plugs to be driven into different sections of his brain, so as to not cause severe damage; or even having used so many nerve endings to link himself to the Legion Network, he has begun linking them to anything that could make a solid connection, even those that control his facial muscles. What use is smiling, when you could instead use those nerves to act as noospheric data triggers for orbital artillery?

What use is a face, but to show emotion? To display weakness? To converse pleasantly with others?

Immaterial. Only war matters. We are Iron Within, and Iron Without. I will not worship the human face, as I would not kneel to deities and fanes.

That's more of the Iron Tenth's shtick; using machines and augmentation to be better at war while disregarding the flesh. The Iron Warriors are cold, calculating and efficient, but in the current fluff Perturabo basically wishes he could be an architect who could build wondrous things over being a warlord who destroys. The original piece shows that he's willing to disfigure himself in order to be efficient, while the current piece is too over the top for someone who supposedly hates his job.
