KGatch113 Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Since the CSM formation 1st company could allow me to play upto 5 squads of VV with jump packs, I thought I'd ask for some advice on a mostly jump pack army from BA players. I've read posts that advise long range firepower, and aside from stuff concerning SHP etc, what else do these lists need? You want something to prolong their lives as well as another first turn threat that needs dealing with. I've found 2 jp squads (double dc or dc/sg) benefit greatly from fnp, move through cover (veratis vitae for the win) or something like the div invun to ensure they survive in enough numbers to get an effective charge off. Also two melta pods dropping turn one helps distract fire from jumpers as 8 melta shots in the backfield have to be dealt with or they will cause havoc.
