Greetings All,

 

I am looking to find out what the conscientious is, I have been using a persons models for a while and they have essentially a TH/SS + CML  unit. Now I've read the rules and i don't see why not that this would be ok but what do you all think.

 

 

The rule on page 169 Digital and 116 LE Codex state "For every five models in the squad, one Deathwing Terminator may take an item from the Terminator Heavy Weapons List. "

 

but on the same page it states that "Any model may replace all of its weapons with TH/SS"

 

 

So what are the conscientious of interpretations on this?

You can still take the CML even with the TH/SS. That hasn't changed. Now any other heavy wep you'll lose the TH/SS to take, say a plasma cannon. Then it's cannon+fist

ok just been going through the army builder trying to fix errors, so trying to figure out how to word that bug, is that something from the BRB that states this ?

It's still debated if you actually need to have a storm bolter to swap for the CML even if you don't actually swap.

You just have to first replace the PF/SB with TH/SS and then take a weapon from the terminator heavy weapon list. Since the CML is the only weapon that does not replace the SB, it is the only weapon you can take at that point.

 

If you did it the other way around, you would end up with paying for the CML and having it removed by the TH/SS.
