Salamanders Land Raider

Salamanders are a chapter that will always be close to my heart.  Over the years, I've painted up quite a few for clients, as well as quite a number for myself.

Here's a tank that I did for a client just a little while ago- this one had all of the Forge World and Chapterhouse bells and whistles to go with it:

I found that there are a few secrets to upping your painting game:

1- People who know stuff like to tell other people about it- so find some tutorials online that describe something you can't do, and try them out.

2- Don't worry about the speed of painting at a higher quality.  You get a lot faster as you become more familiar with any level of painting, so don't worry about how long a mini takes you when you're trying something new.  The worst thing you can do is to start thinking about how long it will take for you to finish all of your Cadians at this level- and the truth is, you'll get much faster as you keep painting at that level.

So go try something new, and don't worry that it takes you a while when you aren't familiar with the technique yet.
