Garden Ninja
Salamanders are a chapter that will always be close to my heart. Over the years, I've painted up quite a few for clients, as well as quite a number for myself. Here's a tank that I did for a client just a little while ago- this one had all of the Forge World and Chapterhouse bells and whistles to go with it: http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/salamander-space-marines/tank.jpg?i=1594406958 http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/salamander-space-marines/tank-2.jpg?i=431416549
Rasclomalum
If I could paint 1/10th as well, I'd be 10 times better than I am today.
Garden Ninja
I found that there are a few secrets to upping your painting game: 1- People who know stuff like to tell other people about it- so find some tutorials online that describe something you can't do, and try them out. 2- Don't worry about the speed of painting at a higher quality. You get a lot faster as you become more familiar with any level of painting, so don't worry about how long a mini takes you when you're trying something new. The worst thing you can do is to start thinking about how long it will take for you to finish all of your Cadians at this level- and the truth is, you'll get much faster as you keep painting at that level. So go try something new, and don't worry that it takes you a while when you aren't familiar with the technique yet.
strongbow
Amazing Land Raider! Love it. So are all the extra components from Forge World then?
Fenbain
Some of the parts are from Chapterhouse studios. They are from their 'Dragon Conversion Kit for Heavy tank'.
SickSix
Love it! The Sallies are also one of my favorite chapters/legions. You have done a masterful job on this. That is one blessed customer!

Garden Ninja
Thanks. I do like doing battle damage like this. One trick I use to getting it to really look right is to use a torn piece of foam and stipple the damage on. it gives a nice random pattern that is tough to get from a paint brush.
