Bodacious2182
Just getting this going, got it in yesterday and put some effort into it. Coming out good so far. http://i.imgur.com/OOfaOFUl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/cDiHDIUl.jpg And a comparison with some more large Khorne things: http://i.imgur.com/CaLYLiBl.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/311232-forgeworld-kytan-shaker-of-the-heavans/ Share on other sites
Gordon Shumway
Liking it so far, but would it be possible to bend his left leg more? He sort of looks like he is about to tip over. Rev. Tiberius Jackhammer
Looking good, I hope you'll have a terrified Space Marine crawling out of the Predator's cupola! I agree with Shumway's critique - on a related note, maybe angling the torso upwards a bit would help? Kizzdougs
This is going to be awesome! The base is particularly impressive. I have to echo the others though. The pose looks a bit unnatural, although it's hard to tell properly with the arms and head missing. Looking forward to seeing some more :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/311232-forgeworld-kytan-shaker-of-the-heavans/#findComment-4124895 Share on other sites
Bodacious2182
Small update: Attached some more of the main parts, The goal of this thing is have a super aggressive posture. He just cleaved a predator to shreds and is vaulting to the next target. I fully understand where you guys are coming from about the leg. I saw it, too, first thing. The left is as far out as it can go and the right is as far in as it will go. I really wanted the foot to be crushing the tank barrel but I am going to have to move the foot back some. Hopefully the joints break easy enough. I have all the little accrutments to do as well as add a cuppola, a couple of dead marines, and a few skulls to the base. I am also thinking about adding a blood letter somewhere just for added flair. Lord Uglor
I think that if you could shift the wrecked tank back so that the 'crushing leg' was away from the center and closer to the back edge of the base it would look less like he was falling off the base and more like he was launching into a new melee. That way you'd only have to disengage the toes and the tank, and not worry about the leg joints and possible damage. Just my 2 cents. Gordon Shumway
He does look better from those other angles. Maybe you can get away with the legs as is if it would be easier to separate his torso from the hips and angle it so it is more vertical, like he is trying to balance himself out.
