Weird - I'd have put money on it being Zardu Layak and the Blade Slaves (which is the coolest 80's metal band name ever btw - "Hello New York! We are Zardu Layak and the Blade Slaves, are you ready to rock?!?!") based on the fact they're the last pre-release from the Open Day to go into general release. Maybe they'll combine with the Suzerians, in retrospect they have looked pretty finished for a long time now.

Meh, tempting, but I'd prefer the Fulmentarus terminators

Man, if they drop Fulmentarus before the Tyrants I'm gonna have to make a trip to Nottingham...

Not only did Bobby leapfrog the Book 2/3 Primarchs, but the copycat missile terminators, too?

Oh I'm sure that's the case! I just think it could've been done better in a later book, as opposed to being "THE" specialist Ultra Termies, would've been nice to see something unique.

I mean...the Suzerians are effectively Terminators with 2+/ 6++(5++ in CC), Ap2 at initiative, deny Charge Bonuses and can sweep.

Oh and, they aren't Bulky.

It's not above Guilliman to admit something is a good idea and utilise it.

Besides, him and Perturabo worked on many things together - the Sicaran Tank is one of the results of their efforts.

Wasn't it Ferrus and Guilliman?

Perturabo reinvented the Vindi aka Typhon.

Yeah, while awesome, the fact Guilliman just copies Pert instead of having his own Termies is stupid tongue.png

I hope we can get the Suzarian Shields separately

He didnt copy Ferrus, he took a proven thing, and improved upon it. Guilliman isnt afraid to admit when someone else has got it right, but he knows there is always room for improvement

Agreed, I see him as rather pragmatic, dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather

than theoretical considerations, when it suits! Theoretical will never replace practical considerations.

I will definitely be fielding the Suzerain with Guilliman in a Landraider.

It just oozes the Ancient Rome aesthetic!
