So I decided to try something different for myself and after looking through all the wonderful projects here on heresy 30k I decided I'd follow in the steps of Zak from heresy 30k and take to the xviiith. So my inspiration for this force will be around a couple of idea points. •the black dragons chapter •the idea of a post istvaan force abducting Children forcing them to become astrates •a middle eastern jihadist theme •a very destructive army list play style focusing on Rad Volkite fire and templates •minimizing the humanitarian reel of the Salamanders. Hesh Kadesh Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 They can't. Salamander Primary Detachments can't take them, and moritats cannot not be the compulsory hq in a list. This may change when Shattered Legiones come out if they take a 'whatever is necessary' attitude and loot the dead of the dark age weapons (perhaps no Master Crafted weapons for them though).
