Lol I wouldn't worry about losing the resin models. If they discontinue them, you can be dang sure all the recasters will be waiting for us with outstretched arms :D

This is the one time I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. We've only heard about these models so far and maybe a dummy's guide to the heresy included with it.

I mean GW is stupid, but not that stupid. I'm sure they analyzed the risks and rewards or else all their accountants would hemorrhage blood from every orifice.

I know this is weird for me to say....but let's...let's give them a.....ch....

*throws up in mouth*

Let's give them a chance.

What happened to the pessimistic DC that we all know and love, your optimistic attitude is to contagious.

You know we need to run around like the sky is falling

I'm running on two hours of sleep, a couple cups of joe, and a four hour comprehensive statement of cash flows.

If I were any more unstable, they'd shove me in a reactor to generate power :P take my words with a grain of salt.

I'm running on 6 bottles of homebrew and loving life as its under 48 hours till my holiday

On the character sprue: that's one PA and one TDA model?

I'm not a 30k player (yet) so correct me if I'm wrong but I thought 30k 'tactical' squads (a different name too?) did not include special or heavy weapons and that those were in dedicated everyone-carries-the-same support/heavy weapon squads?

I ask as that Mk.IV sprue looks a lot like a 40k tactical squad's load out...?

Veteran tactical squads can be equipped very similar to a modern tactical squad. Thus set gives you the bits to go all tactical or veteran tactical.

Also certain legion specific units like reavers, or headhunter kill teams can also have mixed kit.

This kit would make a nice headhunter squad :)

I'm very happy with this, just wish they had done it earlier, would have saved me thousands...

Pros: cheaper, easier to assemble, no need to spend hours cleaning/scrubbing, no need to spend hours on the phone to Forge World to get duff casts replaced

Cons: won't be as detailed as Forge World resin (Mk IV will be fine as it is clean and flat - MKs II & III will be a nightmare to do right!) Bolters have the right hand attached which annoys me deeply for some reason!

Why do all tactical marines from GW come with that ridiculous squating pose. Its frustrating. I mean, if they can make those great looking assault marines with variable running/jumping/landing poses that give them so much action, why the :cuss cant they just do that for tactical marines! Not for all of them, but give us some options GW dammit.

Knife + GS can fix a lot of things. This is something that shouldn't need to be fixed for every single figure, and that's not a very good defense for it.

I'm not defending it, I hate their damn squatting. I honestly don't know why GW keeps coming back to it for every single kit!
