Raven Guard armour at Istvaan V

Hi HH players,

Hopefully a simple one to answer. I play Raven Guard in 40K and have a number of HH pieces. I'd like to start building my 30K army out, and what i'd really like to build is a force that represents the survivors of the immediate aftermath of the Drop site Massacre. I'd like my RG marines to be pieced together with armour panels from other chapters (Loyalist and Traitor alike). The stories of the aftermath have the RG scavenging armour simply to keep fighting.

So, what was their base armour at that point? Corvus/Beaky came after, V seems to have been created during the heresy, so were RG predominantly wearing IV? Did their Assault squads using the single thruster jump packs? Or something else?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's fairly straightforward I think.

Mk IV Corvus was in use, the Raven Guard were trialling it. Mk4 was the 'standard issue', but the future 'loyalist' legions still had a lot of Mk2 in use as Horus's allies in the Mechanicum made sure the most high-tech gear was routed to the traitors.

Immediately in the aftermath they'd have cobbled together the makeshift Mk5 suits.

In the Raven Guard Mk3 would likely have been in use by specialist units, siege and breacher squads etc - though knowing they were dropping into a hot battlezone it's possible they'd have been using a lot of Mk3 on Isstvan 5 and the more advanced Mk4 an 6 suits would actually have been left in the armouries, meaning they'd have had quite a bit of that to re-build with.

I'd go for Majority Mk IV for Traitor Pieces since they were given priority in getting resupplied and Mk II/III for Loyalists wit some Mk IV.

Mk VI was present on Istvaan for the RG and they'd probably have it in the highest concentration since they were given priority in getting reequipped with the Suits due to their Testing of the Suit.

Mk V is a stop-gap whatever works Mk of Power Armor, you can use FW's set of make your own if you're so inclined.

For the Jump Packs, the Mk II style would be the most common for armors not Mk IV with Mk IV having the Single Thruster.
