Ah, I didn't realize Blunt. I thought they were just like an army of Paragon Shepherds (Mass Effect). I didn't sense any overtly knightly influence. It's more in their conduct, I hadn't really made much of it with their appearance. The other big influence (from Raktra) is the Angels in Darksiders. I'm hoping I can bring some of that through in their general fluff. Edit: thoughts on potential Legions: The Devoured interest me, and they could be handy for certain ideas Sim has. I do wonder how well they would fit into the Insurrection, though. That'll require a plausible way in which they avoid censure. Paladins of Midterra: well they raise the question, are we specifically looking for a Legion to fill a gap among the Traitors? If so, the Paladins look like a square peg for a round hole. I wish to put myself forward as the next recipient of that remaining slot, that is if nobody else who has been here longer wants it. I don't actually have a legion planned, but I did start to make a homebrew chapter not long ago, and I think with a few tweaks they'll fit right in. Would be easier than to create something completely new. I for example had oriented my legion a bit on the Ghost Walkers fluff and role to let it fit more into the wider setting. Maybe an outline how they could affect the broverse etc. Or how they differ from other legions. The most original atm would be the devoured. Or how they.could fit in. @meros: make the axes or swords. To many legions focus on spears, tridents or other thrusting weapons. A maul would be a welcomed surprise^^ And has adb already.made his concept clear^^ atm it is a bit shallow. And never again I should be sleeping. How about we give the folks 1 week time to develop a full concept and then we open a legion-thread casting thread where all legiims show of their work and afterwards we can run a poll. I second Mikhal for an auditions thread. Furthermore, I suggest that as well as who their Legion are, the author give an indication of where they would fit within the established setting. Well, we are still missing a dedicated Cult Legion for Tzeentch, sure some of the traitor Predators embrace the Changer but they aren't exactly Legion strength... Propensity for Tzeentchian corruption will earn points, that is true. Sangi, do you have an idea for how your Legion's mechanical elements would differ from the Iron Legions of canon?
