The 'serkers basically own the Ghoul Stars, so it's safe to assume they'll have a decent setup going.

The same Ghoul Stars where the Eagle Warriors and their Mechanicus allies will secretly carve out a domain of their own.

Can we just all agree that no faction will secretly build a ship bigger than the Dragon of Autumn in orbit around sodding Jupiter?

I don't know if that's what you meant, but does everyone else get an odd feeling in the Rogue One trailers when the old guy starts ranting about the "Death Star". Immeasurable power - you mean a routine exterminatus?

Nah I was just messing around, ya'know, joking about you saying no to any ship larger than the Dragon Of Autumn and the Death Star being the size of a small moon.

I feel like the Serpents could have a pre-existing shipyard in their home system that they refurbish after gaining spacefaring capabilities, which might be helpful considering they operate in large numbers of small fleets, but yeah, no big ships being made really (in fact they would probably specialise in smaller, more mobile ships anyway).

Unfeasibly large ships are one thing (though really I'd limit those to one traitor Legion and the Bears), building them secretly in the Sol system is another

I could see some of the craftier legions traitor or otherwise, finding and repurposing space hulk post Insurrection. Hell I might do it for one of the VIth's future cohorts.

And as it's proud creator I must say The Dragon's machine spirit sees death stars and star killers and chuckles as how little damage is put out by such large structures.

Wondering about Vizenko and the Yellow-Eyed, maybe Kozja implements something like the Sons of Russ program, removing the Wolf Within factor as Wyrmblade was trying to in canon. That might be what prompts one of the Lions to seek Vizenko's counsel.

However, there are also arguments within the Lions due to the memory of Turrus' transgressions. Thinking their head Chaplain might be especially adverse to the idea, and perhaps have taken the lead in halting Turrus' work (was he exiled or did he flee the Legion, Sigi?)

Exile strikes me as a peculiar sentence within an Empire that's constantly expanding. Maybe it's a compromise, as otherwise he would've been executed.

Also, do we have details on the previous work the Warbringers did to cure gene-seed defects? I'd have characters stressing that they've already exhausted the expertise of those Legions they're close to.

Edit: also had a thought on the Siege. At some point, a character should remark that the precinct they're currently fighting in was once called "the graveyard of empires" and ruminate on what that could mean.

Friends and Foes, Brothers and Sisters, I wanted to tell you that I am the coming month short on time and can't spend too much here. So if you have questiones regarding wardens, your primarch sculpts etc: it will take time and hopefully next year I am back on track.

Until then

The Master of Light^^
