I assume you saw my little doodle?

I did but only had a brief look at it.

Btw sorry for lack of posting and writing but rl problems and revision have swallowed most kf my posting time

No worries, that's what I assume when someone goes quiet now. As I've said, I anticipate going quiet for a chunk of the New Year. Hopefully I'll emerge having got plenty done in between rivers; I may even have a stab at Dragon's Flight, which should be something like novella length if I write it in full.

Bit off topic but I need to say this:

Just finished the 6th season of Game of Thrones and OH MY FREAKIN EMPEROR!!! It totally blew my mind!

If you're ever interested in intrigues, schemes, fantasy and a incredible complex world, you just have to watch this!

Yesterday, I spoke about creating a GoT-ish era in House Tohos fluff but now I'm afraid that I just can't come up with something comparable. The battle of the bastards, the story of Jon Snow, Cersei and the rest... Jesus Christ... It's just perfect. Tzeentch would love it. 100%!

I definitely want to implement a GoT character. I just don't know which one. ^^

I have to confess, I've had issues with the last couple of series of GoT. Some story arcs and characters have been handled in a rather clumsy manner, I'd say.

On a lighter note, Rogue One is excellent and I encourage you all to watch it. Vader is magnificent. Also, I just realised the Wardens' symbol looks like a ting, and that makes me happy.

And on another additional note, I keep finding things in BL stories and kicking myself for not including them before. Today, it's growling/snarling/grumbling armour servos.

A ting? A metallic noise?

Rogue one was really excellent amd I am. Ot a huge sw fan. Didn't even saw all the movies untul last year. Wished all sw movies were like r1.

And yes. Got was a litttle bit clumsy but if you remember tge books, the last 2 especially the 4th were bad and boring. Martin lost himself in his big world. Same happened in the past to robert jordan and his wheel of time series. If not for brandon sanderson, I think one of the best fantasy series would habe ended a long boring end...

You know in the movies when something's so shiny the light flares off it, ting?

Same, I was really not that keen (despite liking Empire, I don't think I will ever care for the prequels) until TFA. And now one of my favourite directors is doing the next film :D

I never had that issue with the books. I just drank that stuff in. My issue with the TV show that lots of it has become rather by-numbers, and actively plays into clichés and tropes that the series is meant to interrogate.

Sorry. Don't know this ting. But now I have an idea. Something like a lens flare effect I suppose^^

Well the 5th was nice but I will never understamd the close to religious feelings some have for them. But it could be that the reason os simply that i had known 40k before i ever had a deeper glimpse into star wars so the sw universe was kinda....childish^^.

I have a lot of friends who were bored by the books after i forwarded the series to them but now they absolutely love the tv show. Some even tried to read the books again. They all failed. Personally book 1&2 are among my favs of all time. 3 is very good. But 4 should never have been released that way amd 5 is just plain boring^^. The series gets imho better and better but i know that a lot of peps have probs with the flaws you mentioned.

I'm just watching the series and I'm entertained like never before. Simply loving it. ^^

Best friend is only reading the books and now I'm the one who needs to be careful with spoilers. For example Jons heritage.

You need a gif? Ask Sangi, he's got the right one for sure! ;)
