@Simison, it wouldn't necessarily have to have all primarchs in attendence or for the legions to show up in any particular strength. They could just send emissaries to represent them as I imagine it becoming rather like the feast of blades as the Crusade progresses, with it becoming a point of great pride who wins and a great honour to represent your legion.

@Mikhal, perhaps the Wardens attend but don't take part in any of the fighting?

Attend they would, as this is always a good chamce to see the family. Fighting...except druss and the terrans. I don't think. But you could party nontheless.

By the way: some black sheep primarch could provoke and bully others

Sooo... yesterday, at around 4AM, my main laptop decided to die. Further analysis show that its hard disk drive went *poof*. All BotL-related stuff: fried, lost to the omnissianic anathema. All my WiP writings and artwork: fried, never to be completed. All that remains is what I have posted in this subforum, and a pile of handwritten notes.

It also means a new start for those chapters I was constantly unhappy with, completely rewritten several times and still never posted. These shall see a new light after the exams season.

Ouch that hurts! Have you been to a computer specialist ? They can sometimes get some data back.

Travelled down three departements to find out he was on vacation. So I'll try to retrieve it eventually, but that'll be after the exams.

Good luck for those then ! :)

Omg. That is hard. Hope most of it can be recovered. I know how hard something like that is. Once I programmed a mod for Neverwinter Knights and had also a lot of 3d models for Morrowind created, then my hdd was destroyed by my mother....never ever did I mod again...too much was lost. I hope you won't share the same fate.

Alpharius have you been creating a scrap code to destroy progress on loyalist legions?

"Loyalist legions" ahah. One of them being traitor for the beginning of the Insurrection, then existing as a third side until either the Siege or the Scouring. And the other one containing an entire Chapter-level unit siding with the Stormborn, a good part of the Legion being unaware of the Insurrection for years, and the loyalist themselves relishing in planetary destruction.

Sorry for the double post, but I just had a query pop in my cortex as I was just thinking of converting Khârn into an Iron Bear so..

What happened to all the notable Astartes from Terra in our verse?

Obviously the Wolves and Thousand Sons still received theirs, but Khârn, Sigismund, Garro, Typhus, Loken, And so many others (sorry if I'm mistaking any that are not) But those guys would have still ended up in Legions more than likely and they had the talent to survive and thrive without plot armor. It's just a thought, that I thought was interesting

Are we just going to ignore them, maybe have some random draw to see which legions get them, maybe no one wants to use them.

If done right it could be cool, Sigismund a Traitor, a sane Khârn defending the walls and so on.

If we do have them, I'd say that they are strictly limited to cameo roles and die shortly afterward. While it is interesting to think of the various 'what if' scenarios, in the end, this universe belongs to a different cast and the focus should be on them.

That's fine by me, I thought they should be in no way lead roles. But the way we've been treating things nothing changes (outside of Geneseed and legion numbers) until Icarion is found.

Like I said it was just a thought, and I think a wink and a nudge and no further is best.
