Ion Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 So I'm not much of a painter, but I do like putting together models, and I like making individuals for the heck of it, so I thought I might throw some of them here, starting with my current project. I don't have a decent camera, or a light box, so I apologise in advance for the poor quality of the pictures. Ion Posted August 14, 2015 Author Share Posted August 14, 2015 Gotten frustrated with the Thunder Warrior, trying to make the chest armour look good and still functional is a pain. Here's another of my character models, a Chaplain/Delegatus model for my Sons of Horus. I've seen the chainmaul (chaincrozius?) done before on B&C, can't remember where, but the entire model is really well put together. Great use of an IW head. Ion Posted August 15, 2015 Author Share Posted August 15, 2015 I couldn't think of a chaplain head that I thought would look good on him, but then I saw the IW ones and figured 'hey, if the IW players don't want them....' plus it fits in with all the bionics he has going on there. The chainmaul was fun but also a pain, I had to trim parts of it to make it fit and it's really big which can make it look comical (I was worried about that) Honestly, the more I look at it the more it's asking to be used as the head for a meteor hammer wielding World Eater.
