This thread will be picture heavy and excuse my painting standard i have alot to learn but hopefully people can give pointers on where to improve. I've seen some really nice clean fists but dont feel they shoud be parade ground condition at all times. That and dirty is easier to paint..... And any fluff to share with us? oh strong edge highlights can work no doubt dude but for these guys it really wouldn't work. Strong edge highlights on a battleworn marine just doesn't quite look right in my opinion and for rank and file i find it pretty time consuming. As for upcoming units, alot of metal boxes, more dreadnoughts and next month a sicaran or 2 and lysander and some th/ss terminators. As for fluff these guys are yet to see battle so will forge a narrative around their upcoming battles. Loving that librarian! keep it up =) Cheers bud. Spent a bit more time on him. Ive been painting just over a year but only really this year full time. I have alot to learn but have been lucky enough to be part of some great communities that have really helped my painting.
