Converting a Kharybdis Assault Claw

I'm looking to add a Kahrybdis drop pod to my chaos force, but I find the FW model way too expensive, so I'm looking for some conversion ideas. I know the model is huge, much bigger than a normal drop pod, so size is really the biggest problem. Beyond a normal marine drop pod I have no idea where to start, anyone have some ideas? If there are any alternative none GW models that could work t I'd certainly like to consider those as well.

Not sure of the scale of the Kharybdis compared to the standard drop pod, but a conversion from drop pod to Anvillus can be achieved by either 1) turning the drop od fins upside down so they extend below rather than above the pod or 2) hit eBay and buy an extra set of drop pod fins for the same purpose, but attached to the drop pod doors

I've seen the fins conversion done before, the main problem is the Kharbdis is just so much bigger than a drop pod. There's a size comparison on the FW site, and there is quite a stark difference.

I've seen someone convert a bastion into a Kharybdis pod and it looked pretty good. Not sure where I saw it, though.
