Hinti
Hi, Just a quick Question:: Codex (German Page 97) says we can have Energy-WEAPONS for XY Points. Does that mean we can have Power-Axes and Mauls, etc (as Listed in the RB) ??? If YES, a friendly Mod may close this Thread..... and I'll beg for Pardon, because I'm stupid. If NO, please explain and enlight me...... Hinti Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/312174-codex-clareficationquestion/ Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
If the entry says "power weapon", that weapon may be a power sword, axe, maul or lance. If the entry specifies a particular weapon type, e.g. "power sword", it has to be that weapon. If the entry has been translated into a language other than English by Games Workshop staff, you're entirely at their mercy. The weapon may have to be a turnip, a 13th century copy of the Magna Carta, or the city of Glendale, California. Good luck. Chaplain Lucifer
It's a yes. You buy the power weapon and choose which one is going to be, based on what the model (or specific wargear) has. So if you have a Sgt with a sword it will be a powersword, if it's a librarian with a staff it will be a staff/maul, and so on. Chaplain Lucifer
No worries, sometimes it may seem a silly question, but you never know, so it's better to ask, specially when your version is not the English one.
