DarkAngeal
Even more expensive, but fun to think about. Run a cad with 2x tech marines and Azrael. Also run a hammer of caliban. Take a land raider with three Las predators. Add a unit of servitors (4). All of the tech marines with azrael go into the land raider with the servitors. You now have a land raider that automatically regenerates 3 hp per turn, which is the most it will ever have to generate. You have the rest of your cad to do with what you will, and a unit of tanks that can kill anything it wants to. If you should need a counter charge, you have Azrael and the tech marines to come clear stuff out, and they strike a fearsome sight. 2 attacks each +1 for dual wielding, +1 for charging makes 12 S6 AP2 attacks + servitors and Azrael. And you have 10 wounds worth of 2+ armour saves with 4+ invulnerable saves, and finally the servitors which will tank the ap2 for you anyhow. Should you be going against T4 multiple wound models, you can take your 9 s8 attacks instead (or use them for vehicles). It's very expensive, but it requires multiple kinds of specialists to beat. Frater Cornelius
Hm, that would be a solid mech army. Get a CAD and Hammer of Caliban. The Hammer will have the vanilla Raider and three Vindicators for the big boom. The CAD would have an IntChappy, two Sicaran Battle Tanks with LC sponsons, 2 solo Dark Shrouds and then fill the rest up with Scouts, Bikes and/or mechanised Tacs. At higher point levels you can add a Knight. Mech up the wazoo ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/312486-have-you-tried-or-faced-the-hammer-of-caliban-trick/page/2/#findComment-4159160 Share on other sites
