More specifically, his youth, before the Emperor found him as well as before Luther found him. I've read Descent of Angels, but I was hoping there was more elsewhere. Also a nice couple of pages in Unremembered Empire by Abnett. I have tried to find a lot but aside from all that not much out there that I've found.
