I have decided to post some photos and start a painting log of my current efforts to finish an army, well in fact two one for myself (grey Knights) and my friends (Dark Angels) So here we go, I started gaming in 99 and then moving from there left the hobby around 2007-2009 before coming back although my painting has been sporadic and other games (war machine, IHMN and Malifaux) have kept me interested. Peredyne Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Nice clean brush control. I like the head conversion on the DA Master. On the GK force weapons, I would add a little more highlighting and shading on the blades and feeder cables to make them pop a little more. I would also touch up the base rims with one more layer of black. The DA Master's base needs some finishing work as well. Other than that, they look good! Definitely tabletop ready. Iron_Snake Posted September 4, 2015 Author Share Posted September 4, 2015 Thanks Peredyne, I am planning on rebasing the GK's onto flatter bases more like the DA's as I prefer it. The Masters base is currently on my desk as he is being upgraded to a 30mm base. Thank you for your kind words been struggling with my painting just lately to the point I ground to a stop but your comments will help me get back into it.
